On 18-JUL-2010, Police Officer Michael Bailey, Star # 13970, was shot and killed as he was returning home from his tour of duty. Officer Bailey was a decorated twenty-year veteran of the Department and was most recently assigned to the 1st District. The investigation into his murder is currently ongoing.
